Trip Description
This biking and wildlife safari takes you through both an unforgettable biking and game-viewing experience in Uganda, this safari to explore the Pearl of Africa includes a visit to Lake Mburo National Park, one of the few parks in Uganda where biking tours are carried out, it’s a 4 hours’ drive from Kampala, its diverse animal species include impalas, warthogs, hippos, crocodiles, zebras, leopards, buffaloes, plus 350 bird species such as shoebills, herons, and much more. Your trip also includes Queen Elizabeth National Park, home to huge herds of elephants and buffaloes. It gets its name from the late Queen Elizabeth II, and it is Uganda’s second biggest game park with its borders stretching to cover 1978sq. km. It is Uganda’s most popular savanna park with a diversity of habitats including savanna grassland, wetlands, and forests where a huge profusion of wildlife live including tree-climbing lions, warthogs, antelopes, leopards, over 620 bird species, etc.

DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1: TRANSFER AND CYCLE IN THE AFTERNOON- LAKE MBURO NP
Leave Kampala for Uganda’s smallest park which is known for Zebras – Lake Mburo National Park and this involves a drive of not more than 5 hours, not forgetting a stopover at the Equator for photography and experiments. After some afternoon refreshments and check-ins, we explore the border of this park on the bicycle and will do a distance of 30kms while encountering fascinating wildlife like zebras, Ugandan kobs, and hard-to-miss warthogs is an experience like no other antelopes, birds, zebras, and so many others.

DAY 2: CYCLE AND TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
Wake up and enjoy breakfast, after, set off for another cycling tour of 25km inside Lake Mburo National Park and this allows you to look out for more wildlife that you could have missed the previous day. Return to the lodge, have lunch and proceed to Queen Elizabeth National which supports 4 of the big 5 games exclusive of only rhinos. Over 620 bird species inhabit this vast park, plus many antelopes, warthogs, hippos, crocodiles, etc. All relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay after your activities will be had at the comfort of your wilderness lodge in or around Queen Elizabeth National Park.

DAY 3: GAME SAFARI AND BOAT SAFARI
A game safari in Queen Elizabeth N/Park will begin early in the morning before the sun rises. Catch up with early risers with a focus to see the big game -buffaloes, elephants, lions, leopards, plus antelopes, birds, etc. This will last for 2-3 hours, then you return for lunch as you also get ready for an afternoon activity. A boat safari includes a transfer to the Kazinga channel, a spectacular natural channel that links Lake Edward and Lake George. This is rich in aquatic life, and the 2-3 boat cruise tour guarantees you clear sights of hippos, crocodiles, birds, and more. After, get back to the lodge for long evening relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.
